So here is the deal. When i am driving the check engine light will come on, if i keep driving the car runs fine. If the check engine light is on though and i have to shut the car off and park or something, when i then try to start the car back up it wont turn over! Sometimes i have to let it sit for 20 minutes an hour or even as long as a day or two then try to start it. Sometimes it will start right up in 20 mintues but sometimes it wont for two days, but eventually it does start again! This has happened to me in the past a few times usually when its cold or in the winter? So if anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

 

Check for faults. Sounds like a coolant temp sensor issue thou.
