I am currently looking at a 1998 Audi A6 with 205,000 miles. The price is very good. The problem is not knowing what is wrong with the car. The engine will not start. No clicking noise, nothing. Not sure if it could be the starter. Also wonder about the ignition switch. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

 

buy a crystal ball first.

Battery new? gotta obviously start there... could be a million things.

 

 

If the battery is new and connected good. I'd start checking all the fuses. good luck
