sorry for sounding like a newb, i doubt alot of people know this, but had anyone ever seen a 2.8 v6 to 1.8t conversion, know how hard it is, my 96 a4 2.8qm has some miles on it and i was either thinking of doing a motor replacement, but i like the zippiness and tunability of the turbo, would it just be cheaper to trade up to a 1.8t.

yeah, either trade it in or build up that 2.8. Doin the conversion would cost you your left nut....and then some.
