Default 2 Questions - Temperature and Water....

Temperature just went wacko!

I'm going to give it some more time (a day or so to see if it fixes itself... ) howeverI'm having a problem (just happened a few hours after my car wash today) The tmperature which usally reads in the low 100's high 90's when I get into the car (its about 85 out) and goes down in a bit. Today, it started in the 60's which I thought was weird and kept going down (because I had to put LO on so the ac would still kick in) I think I got it all the way down to like 6 degrees. Is there something I can reset or something? I think the sensor still works because it does go down. It's just like 60 degrees off.

Would the Pressure from the car wash have anything to do with it? the floor in the back got really soaked like there was a hole in the bottom in the car.. Anybody know whats up with that?

More than likely the CTS (coolant temp sensor) is bad. Its a common problem on all audi's.

k cool, Ill get it checked when I get it serviced. When that is bad does it beep every once and awhile once it hits a certain temp? It seems when I was driving and it showed like 10 degrees or lower i heard some beep every few minutes.

What temp are you talking about? The coolant temp, out side temp, or HVAC temp?
