I have owned many older Audis 4000Q, 5000Q, 200TQ and 90Qs . I just bought a 2000 A6 Q Avant. 147k miles. Looks and runs good but once warmed up it not shift up into higher gears in Drive. I can shift over to Tiptronic and it will shift up fine manually. It does seem to shift smoothly when cold through all 5 gears in Drive. but once warm it only will shift to 2nd or 3rd gears. Damn computers!!!
