2000 Audi A6 P1568

Default 2000 Audi A6 P1568

Hello All Im new to the forums and heres my problem. 2000 Audi A6 quattro 2.8 120,000 miles. Had a code for bank one and bank two secondary air injection I removed the intake and the combination valves cleaned reassembled that code went away but now i have the P1568 code on EPC lights on and the engine is running terribly on two cylinders (1,6) i replaced plugs wires and coils any idea on where i should look next? not sure what the code is for i had to use global obdII and the description was bad thank you for any info on this problem

Forgot to mention that's the only code no misfire codes could the throttle actuator having a mechanical fault cause ur to run on two cylinders ?

I have too the same problem...Needed to resolve. The A6's styling is unmistakably Audi, with a swept greenhouse and muscular fenders. However, the A6 isn't a stunner like the A4.

Ok so i had the same prob! Take the throttle body off. pop open the TPS ( the black plastic cap on the throttle body ) USE ELETRONIC CLEANER and q-tips clean it real good then put it back together hook it up and that should fix the prob...... atleast it did for me..
