I just got the tt it has 79,000 miles on it. I got the major tune up done. But now I am having a couple of problems, The car sputters when I try to go faster and then all of a sudden black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Can anyone tell me what might be causing these problems?

 

sounds like a misfire but im a rookie

did they do you spark plugs coil packs ect?

 

Well the sputtering was really bad at first the car would not even accelerate. So I took my car to Aptuning, this shop in town. They replace the spark plugs,MAF. and the car started to run way better than before. Then it started to sputter again, engine light was flashing and black smoke came out of the exhasutandsmell of gas. From reading the forums I would think it is the coil packs I ordered the hitachi coil packs from ecstuning. and i guess ill just have to wait and see if that was the problem.

 

Don't drive with a flashing CEL, it could burn the catalyst.

 

Alright so I got the the new coil packs and sparks plugs installed, but my car still sputters when I try to accelerate.
Does anyone know what else I should do?

 

Any faults?
