Angry 2005 audi a3 alarm fuse

the alarm on my audi a3 (2005) has just started going off. Tried disabling it with the door switch (no good) would like to remove the fuse but not sure which one it is and where it is located - can anybody help.... we are not at home either!! (found fuse box under the bonnet - is there a different one?) If anyone can take a picture and point out which one it is I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks

It could be the microswitch on the boot lock, take off the plastic trim that covers the inside of the boot lid and you will see the lock with a wire attached to it, that's the microswitch which tells the car the boots shut, either its faulty or may be wet. Remove the wire and check all is dry, squirt of WD40 and put everything back together and you should be fine.

Wink audi alarm

being a woman I couldnt sort the problem out myself!! howver I asked a friend to remove the boot cover and look at the microswitch (whatever that is)and sure enough the washer pipe had come off and the boot switch was green on the contacts (Im getting good at this)so my friend refitted the washer pipe cleaned the contacts and sprayed with wd40.lo and behold everything works fine again so thanks to those who told me what the problem was.
