2008 A4 Quattro...check engine and EPC light!!
Recently my check engine and my EPC light came on. The epc light will turn off and on intermittently but the check engine remains on. The other day I drove it and the car stalled while on the road. I turned off the car and then it came back on with no issues. Still the engine light is on and epc. I scanned it and it says camshaft position sensor bank 1 high circuit and fuel pressure regulator. I swapped out sensor and still having same issues. Please help I don't want to get stranded with my kids. Also my friend ask me to jumpstart his car one time and it didn't jump his battery. Got that checked at orielly'sand they said it was fine. What causes the car to stall intermittently and how do I get rid of this EPC light
It will come on with the Check Engine light when the engine most of the time. EPC is Electronic Power Control. This system controls Traction Control, Cruise, and the like. If the engine is doing stuff like what you're experiencing, it will come on. It will also turn off functions and do things to help protect the engine when it's running rough like limit throttle input speeds and such.
