Hi,

I've got a 1.8T Sport A3 which is a lovely car, but it's suddenly gone wrong.

This morning I heard the alarm sounding whilst it was parked outside the house.

I didn't think much of it, but when I got in the car and started it up, the engine management light came on, all the gauges flick on and off, none of the display works and it's all gone wrong!

The engine seems to run fine but something has gone horribly wrong with the electrics.

I did have an issue, especially in the cold weather of a lot of condensation in the car and I think something might have got damp and gone wrong. (there may well have been a leak allowing rain water to get in).

Would anyone know where I might even start looking for a solution, of even where abouts in on the car I should have a look to see if there's any damp?
