I have a 2007 A6 3.0TDi which I need to fit a towbar to.It has parking sensors which I understand can cause problems so may need a detachable type bar.

Do I have to have a car specific wiring loom to avoid elelctrical problems as this looks to cost an additional £230-250?

Also,can anyone recommend a towbar fitter(mobile or garage)who covers the Gloucestershire area.
Want to avoid a botched job but also want to avoid paying fortune if possible.

Any help/advice welcomed.
