My A3 makes a weird noise/vibration when turning right, whatever speed im going. I have taken it to my local garage and they said it was a front ball joint gone but after now having this replaced the noise is still there! It only happens when turning right and seems to be coming from the back!!
Does anyone have any ideas??

 

Sounds like a left rear wheel bearing going out.

 

I have the same problem, however it appears to go away when clutched in. Did you ever find a solution to your problem?

 

when clutch is in?? sounds like a thrust bearing, to check if a wheel bearing is going the noise will get louder at speed if the noise only happens when turning I would think C/V joint
