Hello there, and hope i can get some help. Just purchased a Audi A4 2002 2.5 diesel with AYM engine code.

The problem i got is upon cold starting the engine. I replaced the glow plugs and i noticed that two of them had been changed during a routine service prior to me getting the car, so i changed the whole lot. She turns over but takes a bit of time to fire up, and definatley longer than what it should. Glow plug lights and goes out after about 6 seconds, and there is supply to the glow plugs.

She's purring beautifully when running, but i was wondering if there is a lift pump for the fuel, or does the VP44 do all the work.
