Hi guys

I'm planning to change the thermostat and the timing belt on my 97 A4 2.8 in the next few weeks. the car have 183 000 km. Is the anything else I should also change while doing that? Should I also change the timing cover gasket? Which is the best shop manual I should use? I'm trying to get all the parts and info prior to start the job.

Change the water pump while your in there. Its not that expensive and is very easy to get to once you have her opened up. As far as a shop manual, I couldn't tell you. I can walk you through it tho.
