A4 2001.5 tiptronic engaging but not shifting?
Hey guys,
Got this a4 not too long ago, trying to get the tiptronic working. When I switch the shifter into manual shift the (+) and (-) light up and the gear selection changes on the HUD. I am unable to downshift or upshift, the car will stay in the gear it was in whenever you shifted over to manual mode. Can this still be the magnets if it engages into sport mode? The previous owner said he replaced the magnets, that it needs a steering angle sensor calibration to get the tiptronic working, has anyone ever heard of this? Is it probably still the magnets?
