My 2002 A4 2.8 turbo is bucking and missing when accelerating in drive. Not so bad when I use the manuel shifting but still not right. Local mechanic thinks its a small electrical valve of top rear of motor. He told me go to dealer as a code states timing is advanced and he believes this valve on the motor has something to do with it. Went to dealer and parts guy was an *** to me. He asked if I thought he was a mechanic. Stated I would have to make appt. to have vehicle checked. Price estimate was $300.00 to over $1000,00 and I dont even know what the problem is. The car is starting to take me broke .can anyone help me out. Thanks Len
