Almost as much as a decent S4.

 

you sure about that i dont think so i think the engine would cost about $5000 at most.

Im going to convert the a4 to the s4 and change the innercooler, the turbo to a KO4, and mod exaust then i will work on the outside and work on the body kits and new rims and they spray they car again. THATS THE ******* PLAN!!!!!!!

Everything with instalation would be about $10,000 at most still less than what i would pay for a stock s4 off the lot without a turbo.

Ok if you are serious about this then do your homework.

My fiancee's brother (and I was encouraging of course) wanted to do a motor swap on his IS300 for a V8 as was featured on different shows, hense IS430 or whatever. Anyways he budgeted one number, came out to be 3x as much.

There is a lot more thats different between the A4 and the S4 than just the motor dude.

Go to Audiworld.com and Audizine.com as this topic has been discussed there more than here and you'll soon learn its just a lot easier to buy a S4.

 

NAW DEWD, you can dewit! While you're rootin around in there, slap a ouple of turbos on that v8, too, al-la RS6. That'd be tha shizzle fo rizzle. Post some pics in tha DIY section, and some dyno vids in S&S. Oh, and, don't forget the build tally sheet. Not sure if you should post it in the A4 or S4 section... DO BOTH!!!
