I have a very frustrating recurring electrical problem with my 2000 A6 2.7T. Every once in a while, when I turn my car on, the headlights, steering wheel radio controls, rear defroster, and climate control fans will not work. All other lights, including turn signals, dome lights, brake lights, as well as all other electrical components, work fine. The problem corrects itself eventually, after either letting the car sit for a while, or repeatedly turning the car off and on. There is no apparent pattern to this. I have taken the car to an Audi dealership twice, and they cannot figure out what the problem is. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

 

ign switch,replace it and y r all set

 

I have the very same problem in an A4 1.8TQ... Any idea what an ignition switch should set me back...?

my a6 wagon 99 rear tail lights do not work when head lights are on. the turn signals in front do not work the side and rearturn signals work but blink quick. the break ligkts do work and emergancy flashers work in rear. when emergancy flashers are on all dash lights blink, is the nornal? also most of the interrior lights like clock, raido buttons, by door handles, heated seat **** lights and mant others do not work but do flash with 4ways on. doam ligkts work . any sugestions? dealer doesn't know just lets try this this this thanks dom
