Hi, I've been reading all the posts I could find on A6 windows on this forum and if nothing else I've been able to eliminate a couple of possibilities.
So here's what I have:
1. Passenger window will not go down or up
2. All the windows roll up and down using the key so I have to assume all 4 motors are good(?)
3. I replaced the master switch on drivers door but wouldn't acvtivate passenger window
4. My understanding is that it is probably a broken wire so where is the most obvious place to start looking for a broken wire?
5. Because all my windows work with the key is it save to assume that the 'regulators' are all OK?

The most obvious spot for broken wires for doors is in the area between the door and the body inside the rubber boot that the wiring harness for the door feeds through.
