Default After rain, car thinks door is open and alarm keeps going off

Hi all, I hope you can help me with a problem with my A2.

Its a few years old and looks immaculate, with only one severely annoying problem! When it rains heavily, for the next 12 hours I constantly get a "door open" warning light on the dash. The alarm will go off within 15 minutes of locking the door too.
I have checked that all the doors and boot/trunk is closed, yet the indicator still shows something as open.

I therefore think that water is getting onto something (door sensor)and is causing the car to think its open. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? are the sensors easily accessible? could it be electrical problems not in the doors, but maybe in the engine?

Any help greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Craig

Default Loom

The loom that goes to the door has a rubber gromit over it pull this back and check the conector for corosion this is proberly where the problem will be. If so you will need to replace the corrded conections.
