After Resetting service indicator

After Resetting service indicator
Does anyone know why after resetting the service indicator that it would only display three dashes next to miles and days until service? It has been like this for about 2 days and I've put about 120 miles on it so far since the oil change.

Its like that because the new clusters won't tell you what the service interval is because audi doesn't want you to know what it is. The only way to let you know what the cluster is set at is using a VAS 5051/5052 and interogating the dash panel insert (number 17) and checking the adaption channel 42 for minimum miles and 43 for maximum miles. If 42 or 43 is set to 10 or 100 depending on the year its set for 10k intervals, if 5 or 50 its set for 5k intervals. If you have the scanner or know someone with one you can set it to gooff from 1 mile to 20 thousand miles plus before it will say service in the display again. Other than that just re-set it manually everytime you see it if it bothers you.
