I have a 98.5 A4 Quattro with the 2.8. I checked the manual and followed the instructions : push and hold the right **** and turn ignition on, then pull the left **** out - the only thing that happens it the clock time changes. I've tried searching and googleing as well and tried a few other methods with no luck. Has anyone else had this much trouble with this simple task? I'm almost to the point where I am going to go pay the dealer to do it because I just can't get it to work.

i had the same issue buddy just keep doing it and it will work took me a week to reset mine i did it every time i got in the car
