A 96 A6 Avant 2.8 that now the roof is stuck open. Had a weak battery, jumped it and as soon as i started it up , the roof opend by itself and now will not close. It seems to be out of sync with the switch, and to boot the manual close is stripped to almost round. Oh yeah and it rained today. Now its sealed up with plastic.

Is there a way to reset the switch? Disconnect battery, something like that ?

Go to www.audiworld.com or www.audidiy.com and look in the Tech sections - there's a fix for randomly opening sunroofs there. You may have a similar (although more severe) problem with your switch.
