Anti roll bar Bushes?

RE: Anti roll bar Bushes?
OK, HarryC, first, let me correkt your spelink... You're referring to b - u - s - h - I - N - G - S, not bushes. Bushes are busy-looking squat not-quite-tree-like objekts. Bushings are the rubber, polyethelyne or polystyrene or some other poly-synthetic material, or even metal (in extreme cases) objects that dampen connections between suspension parts and the frame, generally speaking.
To answer your question, yes, that could be the culprit. Is the bump noins rythmic, or does it occur primairly when you hit uneven road surfaces, such as (no pun intended) bumps?

Seems to be a thing in the UK to call them bushes as they are being advertised on this search engine as same!
anyway the noise is only on certain bumps and I had to replace bushes/bushings on my wifes Golf of 3years age due to a fault on these cars.

RE: Anti roll bar Bushes?
bushes = UK
bushings = USA
but if you type bushings in your search you get more results
tie rods seem to be a common fail due to speed bumps in the UK ( in the USA ) they call the track rod ends tie rod ends
