Hi there, first time poster and Audi newbie.

Just bought a second-hand A3 in great condition and very happy with it. I notice, though, that the DIS doesn't work/isn't enabled. I've seen some older posts here referring to having the correct window wiper stalk with a reset button and an up-down button on the end to operate the DIS. I don't have this. I do have a blank screen in the centre of my dash like so though ...



My question is, does this indicate the DIS is on board, and I merely need the correct stalk to operate it, or is it far more complicated than this?
