I have this strange problem. My battery died on me and I got it jumped. Now, it still wont start and only some of the lights (airbag/seatbelt/ etc light up). The check engine light wont light up (like when you start the car or just insert the key and turn the key a bit). Radio won't turn on either. My mechanic has seen this only once - heard about it from a mechanic friend who's client is having the same issue. Anyone else??? He thinks the computer might have been damaged somehow in the jump of the battery. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

 

Check for codes.

 

Remove the battery from the car and charge it fully overnight. Be sure there is enough water in the cells.
Re-install battery in car and test.
Our beloved German cars have electronics that don't deal very well with low voltage. I am sure you will be fine.
