Audi a4 avant 2.5 v6 diesel too much oil in
Hi everyone
Just a quick question my friend put too much oil in his engine and he had to call the AA out and they said the engine had hydraulic and said he needs to release the pressure has anyone one got ideas on how to do this?
Cheers

Too much oil can cause issues from underneath the pistons. The crank slapping the oil can also cause the same issues as something striking the pistons, knocking the thin film of oil between the main and rod bearings causing things to touch metal to metal. If it has hydraulic locked, you can pull the glow plugs and turn the engine over BY HAND and push the fluid (if it's anything other than oil or fuel, not good) out of the cylinders. Then do a compression check on each cylinder to make sure there hasn't been any piston, ring, or head gasket damage.
