Hi All!

I'd really appreciate any/all help given with this as it's driving me mad. I try to explain this problem to the local official Audi garage but they don't have a clue what I'm going on about so please bear with me!..

1. I slide the passenger side seat to the required spot.
2. Later on someone needs to get in the back so I pull the lever at the top of the seat so it slides down and forward, they get in.
3. I slide the seat back and the seat crushes their legs as it has 'forgotten' the last position it was set at.

Apparently this isn't a separate part with the A5 whereas it was with the A3 so I have to buy a whole new base which is £500. Would anyone have any idea what it is that I'm looking for that needs replacing or mending?
