Default Audi Allroad 2.7T Engine Oil

Hi all,

I need to do a oil service on my 2000 Audi Allroad 2.7T. The car has 134K miles.

At the moment I have 5W30 Castrol Edge in the car and I was wondering is that ok oil for my car cause few people advised I should change to 5W40.

I would appreciate if someone can recommend what would be the best oil for my car given the mileage.

Is it ok to go from 5w30 to 5w40 or should I maybe go to 10w40.

Thanks, Alem

5W30 is fine, as long as you use synthetic oil. Audi turbo engines are finicky and using conventional oil isn't recommended due to the heat they endure.
