I recently purchased a B5 that needed a valve job and the car had been taken apart to diagnose at the repair shop. I bought the car for $600. I was very lucky to find a person selling an engine locally for $350, that was a steal of a deal. It would have cost me about $1000 just in parts to do the valve job and put the engine together myself. So I have finished replacing the engine and hear are the before, during, and after pictures of my B5. Best of all, I have less than $1000 into my car. Thanks for looking.
