Hi guys. Im completely new to this and would love some help with this.

I have been looking through google and other audi forums for some answers:

I am trying to upgrade my mmi 3g Low to a high version with hard drive.
I looked on ebay and found a VW infotainment unit with twin sd cards and sim slot. The unit looks the same size with all the inputs at the back. The unit has the audi logo on it so it is made by and for audi.

The question is: although the part number is different, can I exchange my unit to this version or is it impossible?
I know I have to change the screen, trim and the centre console and would require some programming.

Any help would be appreciated in regards to this.
