Hey there.
I'm brand spankin new to the Audi family. Just bought myself a 2000 S4.
My first task is to replace the brake pads and rotors, front and rear.
Does anyone have any links for step-by-step instructions (preferrably with pics)?
I'm a bit of a newbie, but I'm excited to start wrenching.

i can 't provide pics or step by step...
but i can say, rear brakes need to be turned and pushed in. don't bend or kink the brake lines and be careful or sensor wires.
other than that... its pretty much your standard brake job

Heres for the front, click here. I couldn't find one for the rear but if they're like the A4 you'll need a special tool to retract the pistons. Maybe this DIY for the a4 rear could help clicky
