So...I hope this hasn't been answered before. I tried searching and couldn't find anything in previous threads.

My battery died and we went through the usual SAFE mode on the stereo and fixed that up fine. My odometer is fine...and the trip odometers... But the computer that tracks your MPG, average MPG, average speed, etc...just flashes 0:00h. Anyone seen this before? Help!

Thanks!!! Dayna

A lot of times you have to reboot by removing the fuse that runs this item. To reboot, remove the fuse for three minutes then re-insert!

The fuse you are after is Fuse number 15. It is a 5amp fuse for the instrument cluster. It resets the time and date as well so they will need doing. Had to do this myself this morning as my battery died last night.

Ps did you get an EPC light on as well and does that clear itself?

I couldn't figure out what fuse it was... so we disconnected the battery and let it sit there for a bit. We had to go back throught the safe mode on the stereo, but the trip computer fixed itself. I'm not sure what an EPC light is...sorry. I'm a total newbie

The EPC light is on the dash. read somewhere about disconecting battery to clear it. Tuesday night disconected earth from battery and charged battery over night. On reconnection to battery and turning on of ignition EPC light had cleared. EPC light only came on as i think the car over ran as ignition was turned off when battery died. So this may not clear all EPC errrors.
