broken glove compartment latch

broken glove compartment latch

When pulling my glove compartment latch it seems not connected so my glove box does not open. What and how do i need to do???

What model, and year of vehicle? What do you mean exactly that the latch goes all the way over but doesn't open the glove box door, or does the door latch feel stuck?
