Default Can I put H&R lowering springs on a stock Audi A4?

I don't want to ruin my car, i just want to lower it about 1-1.5 inches front and back. I don't want to spend 4 figures just to lower it. i just want to know the right way to go with this. I have pictures where you can see the actual car it kind of looks like a monster truck but at least it's car..

Using the stock struts and lowering springs will only cause the struts to wear out quicker. More stress and not designed for it, my advice buy lowering springs with struts as a kit. After it is lowered have a shop check the alignment make sure the camber isn't all out of whack.

If you're doing the work yourself you could pull off a full kit (H&R springs with Bilstein shocks, for example) for around $800. Add another $70-100 for an alignment and you still haven't popped the four-figure cherry. My opinion is that you're going to have to replace the shocks someday, so why not just do it while the suspension is already torn apart?

Agree, if you're going to do it you should do it right.
