Car not starting...please help.
Good afternoon,
I was driving back home tonight when the car just died. The engine turns over, but does not start. I opened the lid over the fuel pump, and can hear it just fine, so I'm not so sure that is the problem. Since it was pretty late, I did not have a chance to check for spark, but will do it first thing tomorrow. I wanted to post tonight so I can hopefully have some ideas posted by the time I start tomorrow. I know this is a very general description, but I thought maybe this car has some kind of recurring issue. Any ideas or recommendations?
UPDATE - 12/02/07 1:09PM: I just took out the spark plugs and they are quite soaked in gas, so I believe gas pump is not the issue. Also checked compression, which is great. There is however, no spark on any one of the cylinders. Any suggestions?
By the way, the car is a A4 1.8T manual tranny. Mods includes APR chip and k04 upgrade.
Thank you very much!

RE: Car not starting...please help.
its not a cam sensor.. a fail cam sensor might stop it from starting, but it wont kill the engine once its running. what year is it? does it have a power output stage, or are the coils ecm controlled directly? if all coils failed at once, im guessing its the power output stage.. aka ignition module. find a local parts dealer, they may be able to test it.
