Read your owner's manual.

Enter the code by pushing the buttons synonymous with appropriate position in the the number sequence for your security code.

For example: If your code was 6342, you would push the "number one" button until a "6" appeared in the first position, then you would push the "number two" button until a "3" appeared in the second position.

But, crazyhawk was correct. This is described in great detail in your owner's manual.

Cheers!

The issue is though that many of us bought the car used and never got the manual... (sad story I know... LOL)

at the same time push and hold the FM and DX buttons till numbers appear (approx. 3-5 seconds). Then you will push the button with #1 on it to the desired digit, then press the #2 button to the desired digit, then press the #3 button to the desired digit, lastly press the #4 button to the desired digit, then you need to press the FM and DX buttons at the same time again holding for a few seconds. That should do it. That is what my manual says and I have had to use this method a couple of times.
