Before you sling any more parts at it, double check the electrical connections at the starter. In particular the smaller solenoid wires.

I checked both starter wires. It seems like something all of the sudden not giving it power? Is there a relay or som type of security system issue the b5 has?

I could be either one. When you unlock the car, do you use the button on the key fob or do you unlock it manually with the key in the door lock?

There will be power on the large starter wire at all times. If you're not getting voltage on that one, there is definitely a problem with that wire. Does the starter click at all when you turn the key? You should get power on the large wire at all time but the smaller wire will only have power supplied to it when the ignition key is turned all the way to that start position. I'd put a meter on both and check them first.
