Catalytic Converter bracket/bushing
Hello Everyone!
This is my first official post, but long-time troll.
Just had a quick question... I recently replaced my catalytic converter on a 2011 Audi Q5 (any B8/B8.5 can chime in) and noticed there is a bracket/bushing assembly that is attached to the catalytic converter via a spring-loaded bolt.
When I was removing the old catalytic converter, I didn't even bother to inspect where the bushing originally was mounted against because it came off so easily.
Now when putting everything back together, I noticed this bushing doesn't have anywhere to attach itself to.
Is this bushing free-floating? Or should it be pushed into something... (if this is the case, any pictures would be greatly appreciated, or a part number to this item that is magically missing on my car.)
UPDATE: It looks like I found the missing piece. Does anyone have a picture of where this piece mounts?
