Own a 2003 audi a6 3.0 quattro, want to put in a cd changer in rear of car , are these Audis ,the ones sold without cd changers ,pre wired or does a wire job need to be done to radio, if not where is the 13 pin din connector located ,its somewhere in the jack compartment.

I'm not an expert in A6's, but I believe it is prewired, and the DIN is located in the trunk, left side (as you're lookin at it) behind a secret panel (shhhhhh) between the wheelwell and the rear of the trunk... If I'm wrong someone WILL correct me!

 

Pre-wiring should be bundled with all the other wires above the rear driver's side wheelwell where you would find the jack. Take a flashlight and look for the thicker round black cable bundled with all the other wires using a plastic tie. Tied to the end of the cable is a gray foam protector for the connection head.
