CEL code P1423 and P1411 Secondary Air Flow
HELP.....
I have checked everything from hoses, to the pump, to relays and fuses....AND THEY ALL ARE FINE.
Am I missing something when checking the sytem? The pump activates and shortly after the engine light comes on. I think the EGR's are opening, but cannot be sure. I cleaned them with carb cleaner and it appears as if they are moving with vacuum. My vacuum hoses are fine and the pump blow good strong air. The solenoid activates when power is put to it.
WHAT AM I MISSING.....I am sooooo tired of this issue
The codes relate to the Secondary Air Flow Bank 1 and Bank 2 - air flow too low.

Hi Tdawley,
I know that your post is over 3 years old but just in case you are still there; did you ever find out what the problem was? I got the same issue and followed the Bentley manual from power source to fuse to relay to grounding point to no avail. The only thing left that I can think of is to flash the ECM. I have a POS Audi 2004 A6 2.7T
