Default Check Engine Light

so i installed an air intake on my 97 2.8 A4, but i did the mistake of not tightening all the clamps and when i turned on the car on the intake was leaking and almost immediately the check engine light turned on, i tightened the clamps and the car is running fine now, but the light still on...do i have to take it to a dealer to have it fixed?

Try disconnecting both battery cables and touching them together.
