Hey all,
I'm new to the forum and just bought a 2001 A6. I pushed the button on my dash to make the rear window shade deploy. I was being blinded by a high beamer from the rear. Anyways, the darn thing won't deploy now. I can hear it clicking, like it wants to acuate but it doesnt. Is it just broke? or is there a trick to getting it to work again...

Im having the same problem in my 4.2 as well. I hear a clicking sound, but thats about it.

 

plastic gears worn out common fault, I don't think they do spares for this just new unit
