clutch installed, now it wont go into gear..

Default clutch installed, now it wont go into gear..

1.8t b5 A4.. Put in a new clutch and new trans, but now when I turn the car on I can't shift into any gear.

Ideas?

double check and make sure the shifter linkage is hooked up to the transmission

it is.. So far I pulled about 1 cup out of they lines bleeding it, no air...

Checked the slave cylinder and it seems to be working fine, still nothing...

extended the slave cylinder pushrod 10mm and still nothing...
My father thinks the pushrod isn't sitting right and just keeps slidding past the forks.

I don't know what to do and i'm starting to freak out

is it a rebuilt tranny or a new one? when installing the new tranny did you notice any damage to the throw out bearing, if the slave isnt sitting on the little indent on the plate that it rest inside the trnamission it wont shift. when trying to use the shifter what does it feel like and another thing to try is disonnect the shifter and manually shift the transmission if you can shift the transmssion manually then you kno the internals are most liklely good
