Clutch Life 2006 A4 2.0T
Hello,
I have a manual 2006 A4 with a mileage of 156K. The car has been well maintained, and is driven sympathetically. Maintenance costs are creeping up however, which brings to me to my question. How many more miles I can expect from the clutch?, which isn't exhibiting obvious signs of needing to be replaced. The dealer is telling me he can't inspect the clutch so I either wait for it to fail, or have it replaced based on the mileage. I would like to keep the car for a few years.
Thanks,

Clutch life, more than anything else depends on the driver. You can wait till it starts to slip and then change it out. With all those miles, when the time comes, the flywheel will also need changing or resurfacing.
