Concert CD Help?

Concert CD Help?
Hi,
I'm not having much luck getting my wife's TT back to original - it's a 2002 plate with only 36,000miles on the clock!
It has an aftermarket stereo so I have since bought a genuine Grundig Audi Concert cd player of a mate (he upgraded his stereo and had since sold his car). Therin lies the issue ...no code!
I have the vehicle reg of car it came from (T14 ASB) and the Serial Number (AUZ2Z3B1659378). Anyhow, know how best to obtain the code?
Any help or leads would be much appreciated,
Cheers,
A loyal, but stranded VAG owner

My dealership did it for me for free. The only stipulation they had was the radio needed to be wired into the car.
The downside was while the car was their they gave it a 'free' health check and identified £2000 worth of recommended repairs.
Needless to say I drove my clearly unsafe car away with the radio working!
EDIT: not sure if the dealership computer will know it's not the original stereo? If you have the original car details it came from that might help. Are you a user of them for servicing etc if so that loyalty might help?
