1996 audi a6

I noticed when driving home my headlights, horn, and blinkers no longer were working. I parked the car and than realized there was also coolant dripping from the coolant level sensor... cant tell if these things are related or its just two different things that went wrong at exactly the same time ?

all electrical systems work when the car is off but when i start the ignition they stop working (horn,lights,blinkers)

its in the shop and i got to wait til they can get to it but id love a piece of mind
any ideas ?
