Hi -
My P - D has been flashing randomly. My engine has not been making any funny noises and I ran a diagnostic on my car and reset all of the fault codes and have not seen the problem reappear... yet.
Has anyone ever had any problems like this? I have a 2003 (B6) A4 1.8t. Any help would be appreciated!

My A4 does what yours does fault is implausible signal check wiring, Audi say check selector magnets etc under gearstick. Others have tried a new circuit board with no change The TCM cost about $4,000 and audi wont guarantee me it will fix it. So I drive on. If it starts to flash regularly as opposed like a broken wire the I stop and restart engine. After 4 months still goes ok but I am about to trade in. Check the threads with my name to read other multitronic nightmares Paul
