Hey, im new to these forrums, i have actualy been on them for quite some time, but too lazy to make an account. So anyways. I have a 2000 audi a4 1.8 quatro, and i have resently had this door latch problem. The problem started with the door lockin itself, without me lockin it, then when i tried to open my drivers door, the door would not open, the only way out of the car is to jump over the center console, and threw the passenger door. this is a real bitch as you can imagine, so i was wondering if anybody knew the problem. Is it a a problem with the door latch mechanism? and what part may possible need to be replaced? - og
