Just turned the car on and it came up with an EPC error, I turned the car off and on again and it came back with the EPC and the Check Engine Light.
I called the dealer and they seemed to think its not a big issue unless the Check Engine Light was blinking. (Which it was not)

What are the possible causes of these lights.

Also, would this be covered under warranty for the service/parts since its still covered/practically brand new?

yes its under warrenty. epc is your traction controll i think. also the check engine light that flashes only means that whats wrong can damage your cat. so just cuz its not blinking doesnt mean its not a big deal. take your car to the dealer have them fix it.
